Diagnosis for these symptoms?

I have body aches all over, weak, dizziness when up, a touch of a scratchy throat, slightly nauseous, no fever, and no coughing. I can still smell and taste, have no runny nose, and no sneezing.

First check your BP and also get throat culture done. Drink lots of fluids.
Potential diagnoses:
1/ INFECTION
A/ - VIRAL- such as INFLUENZA or the Ómicron variant of COVID which causes more of a sore throat and not really loss of smell or taste, or a COLD.
B/ BACTERIAL - bladder or skin infection that is worsening. Can cause your Diabetes to become uncontrolled / lábiles.
C/ POORLY CONTROLLED DM - if sugars go very high or very low, they can produce similar symptoms so it is important that you are checking your sugars and doing the best you can to control your sugars. See your doctor or seek medical attention if you do not feel better or your sugars are consistently high or very low ( less than 100).

Check for COVID if negative you May need to see your physician if symptoms persist
It sounds like a viral episode (COVID is just one example). I recommend getting checked, especially with the history of type 1 diabetes.
You need to be evaluated. This could definitely be Omicron. Been seeing a lot of patients with similar symptoms. There are other viruses going around as well.
Hi,

You are 53 yo male with (I surmise from your list of meds) Type 1 Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and GERD. I hope you are vaccinated with 2 shots of either Pfizer or Moderna and boosted. If (this a big 'if') your diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and gerd are all under control, then the first thing you should do is get tested for COVID. Rapid Antigen tests are pretty reliable if your test is (+); but if (-), you will need the highly sensitive confirmatory PCR COVID test.
Due to your age and risk factors, I do recommend COVID testing. Latest Omicron variant seems to follow more of flu-like symptoms. Advise you to get the flu vaccine. And use OTC meds for common symptoms.
Sounds like a viral syndrome, infectious, not GI in origin.
