That’s a question for your primary care physician.

Your blood pressure is not controlled. It may be the medication is not adequate, and post-operative pain may be exacerbating the issue. I would message your primary care physician for new recommendations.
Yes. Blood pressure does go up after surgery due to pain, but that lower number of 113 is worrisome. Call your medical doctor, not the orthopedic surgeon.

Hope it helps!!

Hi,

174/113 should be addressed by your doctor. Both numbers are high. Appropriate treatment will be based on your individual situation. Please contact your doctor.

It's high, please contact your PCP. You need the meds
Good Evening and I hope you have a speedy recovery!

I strongly advise you to contact your attending doctor immediately as your blood pressure is high and it may also be probable that pain is affecting your blood pressure by elevating it. See urgent care or an ER if you cannot reach your physician.

Yes. Please check in with your primary care physician. Make sure your pain is adequately controlled as that can raise the BP level. Continue to monitor the blood pressure every couple of hours.
The bllod pressure medication is not working, start Benicar 10 mg daily. Start organic green Mediterranean diet, Juicing: organic carrot/beet/ginger. Alive MVI for women maximum potency gummies, double dose for 3 weeks then maintenance. Vitamin C 2,000 mg daily. Zinc gluconate 100 mg daily. Magnesium citrate softgel 400-800 mg daily. Vitamin D3 7,000 IU softgel daily.
Please contact your surgeon or primary care physician, and take the medications as directed. If you cannot reach them, present to your nearest emergency room or urgent care.
