“Do you fix a broken dental bridge?”
I broke my dental bridge. Do you fix a broken dental bridge?

Unfortunately repairs to bridges are typically not possible. The old bridge will have to be removed and a new bridge will have to be made. At the time of the removal of the old bridge the doctor can also check and clean up the teeth that the bridge will anchor on.
Usually bridges cannot be repaired unless its just porcelain chipped in a very small area .the dentist will evaluate the reason why it broke and decide the design and material of the new bridge accordingly . With gratitude Sheena Bhatia, DDS
Hi, Thank you so much for asking the questions! It really depends on how severe or what level of damage was your fixed dental bridge was. If it is the connection ( or the soldering joint) between the fix bridge is broken, then there is nothing to fix it except to replaced a new one. It it was only the porcelain portion chipped, there is really nothing much to " glue" the porcelain back neither. If you could submit some good quality photos of the broken bridge, hopefully I may be able to view it and give you some free advise. God bless !
