Possibly symptomatically. There may be a structural problem with there is a nervous component. In that case, chiropractic, physical therapy, or surgery may be indicated.
Yes.

Hi, Acupuncture has been known to help with this condition, yes. Everybody responds differently to the medicine so its hard to predict how many treatments it will take to illicit a difference but I would suggest trying it before undergoing more invasive treatments. - Dr. Hallie
That would depends entirely on the specifics surrounding the nerve. If the nerve is being impinged upon by soft or connective tissue that has inflamed, then yes, acupuncture is a tremendous help. If the nerve is being impinged upon by solid structure, for example a bone, a calcification, a cyst or tumor, or it is actually damaged then acupuncture is not the go to first. In those cases another physician would need to assess, take great images, remove a solid structure or discern whether the nerve is damaged itself. Hope you find this helpful.
Yes it does.
Acupuncture does help the back nerve pain, but please also contact your acupuncturist or your family doctor to make sure the back nerve pain is not caused by some situation that needs other kind of treatment, ie. a tumor, or severe herniation.
Good evening, Acupuncture can assist with pain management. I strongly encourage you to see a chiropractor to see if adjustments need to be made as Acupuncture will not aid in structural corrections. I look forward to serving you.
Acupuncture has been found by modern research to be most effective for pain and anxiety/sleep disorders. I have helped many patients who have also complained of back nerve pain. Check with your primary to see if alternative medicine would be helpful for you. - Live Happy, Michael
We will exam 1st. Then provide dry needling 1st. Patients will find instant results in general.
Depending on patients’ medical histories and conditions, each patient will have different responses. Patients will have to follow up in 3-7days depending on severity.
Patients will be examined again on how much difference they have experienced since the initial acupuncture treatment.
Then we can give patients a plan for symptomatology.
If we find limitations in improvements, we will apply different plans as a holistic approach.

yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.
I'm unclear as to what you specifically mean by "nerve pain." What causes your "nerve pain."
Sure can. I treat lots of back pain and sciatica, which involves the sciatica nerve. Acupuncture is very effective for it. In the meantime, try putting ice on it. Ice helps disguise the pain message to the brain. But if your back muscles are tight. try ice heat ice heat. The heat will help relax the muscles and get them off the nerve. Good luck!
Yes, acupuncture can help back nerve pain.
Nerve pain can sometimes be tricky but, yes, acupuncture can generally provide some level of relief. In my experience, nerve pain patients can often take a few more treatments to get things headed in the right direction, so be prepared to attend at least 5 sessions before you decide acupuncture isn't working.
