Hi! You will have some discomfort after surgery and that varies from person to person. It should get better as days pass as long as you are following your instructions.
Some foot surgeries require you to be nonweightbearing after the surgery. Some allow you to walk with a special shoe. You need to ask your foot surgeon on whether or not you will be allow to be weightbearing after surgery
Pain is very subjective. In my office. We use minimal invasive procedure approach. My patients only need Tylenol or alleve for relieve.
It is likely that you should not walk much after foot surgery. It is very dependent on what type of surgery you are to have or have had. Certain surgeries are much more delicate than others and require longer periods of rest and non-weight bearing than others. Your surgeon should direct you on his expectations and how he wants you to handle the post-operative period.
Depending on the procedure performed, you may be able to ambulate after surgery. I recommend you discuss with your foot and ankle surgeon for your particular case
Depends on the problem and the surgery.Toe surgery probably not.Ask your surgeon.
