“Does placing a crown on an implant hurt?”
I will get a crown for my implant. Does placing a crown on an implant hurt?

It typically does not hurt but this all depends on each patient’s situation. One example is when tissue collapse occurs at the implant site and you are seating an implant crown for the first time then this could be potentially “painful” or just uncomfortable depending on how much soft tissue is being pushed or displaced. After some time, the discomfort will go away.
Getting a crown placed on an implant should not hurt but you may feel some pressure on the gum around the implant when it's being placed. Sharp pain could indicate a failing implant or possibly the gum has overgrown the top of the implant body.
It should not because the dental implant does not "feel." Your gums could be inflamed, but that is another matter.
It shouldn't really hurt. You may feel some pressure on tightening with the wrench. Any pain beyond that could be a sign of tissue interference blocking the seating of the crown.
Not in the least. This is actually a really easy impression to take. The implant is already in place and healed, there are no nerves involved. Piece of cake for everyone. No worries.
