“Double dose of antibiotics for kidney?”
Last week I had severe kidney pain. I was prescribed Amoxicillin 500 (10 pills twice a day). It helped within hours. A godsend. I finished my script and the next morning woke up with the same kidney pain. Is it okay to start one more round of Amoxicillin?

Did you have a urine culture done to document if you Gad UTI?
I think you should have a CT scan kidney stone sequence to check if you have a kidney stone at this time before you take another round of antibiotics and you can do U/A with reflex culture.
