Dust inhalation?

What is the worst that can happen if you accidentally inhaled metal dust particles?

It largely depends on WHAT metal is inhaled and what the DOSE was (i.e., how much was inhaled). For example, if it happened to be THALLIUM (a very toxic metal that has been used to poison other people), you could lose your hair. If it was MERCURY, ARSENIC, or LEAD, other toxic effects could potentially occur depending on the DOSE of the exposure. But, if it was not one of these known toxins and you still don't have any obvious symptoms, it is unlikely you will suffer any significant or life-threatening effects.
