Ear infection/tear in eardrum?

I finished my last day of amoxicillin today it was a 5 day regimen. My ear is still plugged and has a dull constant ringing. Should I go back to the doctor?

You need to see ENT specialist to check your ear to see if you have any damage to your ear drum
You may need a longer course of antibiotics. However, it is not uncommon for the fluid in the middle ear space from an ear infection to take 1-3 months to completely clear out even after the acute infection has resolved.

I will assume the reason for the Rx was to treat a Eustachian tube issue and/or middle ear fluid. Probably zithromax. Did the MD teach you how to pop your ear with a valsalva maneuver? If not, Google this, and do it several times a day. No smoking. alcohol intake, or dust exposure. Difficult to tell you more without a look in your ear. You may need to repeat the Rx or get another antibiotic. Did you have a tympanogram? or hearing test
