OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Early period?

A month ago I skipped a whole week of my birth control and my period came early. My cycle was 19 days. After my period ended I began taking my birth control continuously with no skipped days. My period is now late by 6 days. I did not have sex the week I was off birth control. However, I did have sex on my period. I also had sex 2 weeks after continuously taking my birth control again. Could I possibly be pregnant or is it just because of how I took my pills?

A pregnancy is certainly possible given the description. I would recommend you take a pregnancy test. More likely is that your period is late because you are now taking your pills continuously. Stay on your pills if your test is negative.
It is probably due to taking the pills continuously, but it's never a bad idea to do a pregnancy test to be certain.
