Fluid in uterus?

I had endometriosis removed 5 months ago, I had the coil fitted at the same time. A few days later had an operation to remove a ruptured cyst. Since then I've still had bad symptoms (abdominal pain, bad bowel habits, etc). I had an ultrasound to check for another cyst but was told I have fluid in my uterus. What could cause this and what does it mean?

Contraceptive coil? Fluid in the cervix can be due to estrogenic effects early in your cycle and can less commonly affect endometrium. As you know, endometriosis can be a miserable condition. It can produce adhesions as can surgery....more surgery begets more adhesions, and adhesions can adversely affect bowels and induce pain.
Hope that helps.

All the best,
