Fluid in uterus?

I had an ultrasound scan a few weeks ago and was told I have fluid in my uterus. The doctor explained the ultrasound report to me but got confused as it stated I had '2cm' of fluid in my uterus and didn't explain anything to me. I previously had another ultrasound several months before this one which I had 1.7ml of fluid but it was more localized in my pelvis. I am waiting for my referral appointment which is 6 months away however I am slightly worried as to whether or not fluid in the uterus is normal or what can cause it? I have endometriosis and ademyenyosis which was removed 5 months ago, needed emergency surgery two days later due to a ruptured cyst and internal bleeding, but have had worse endo symptoms since hence the ultrasound.

Fluid in the uterus is usually from a menses. A ruptured or leaking cyst could cause fluid in the pelvis which is usually temporary cyst. Endometriosis is another problem & should consult your physician for this as he knows your history.
