Seek professional care , possible Cardiologist consult would be a great place to start. They can do some non-invasive testing (non-surgical ) studies and testing to figure out what is going on to cause the swelling.
You need to go to the ER to rule out a clot
Hi ! I would recommend immediate evaluation by a podiatrist or your regular medical doctor. This can range from infection to gout, difficult to say without seeing you.
At your age and with no history of an injury or fall, I would consider this a medical emergency to an emergency room or MD or DPM
You may have an infection called cellulitis. You should see your primary care physician.
Your description is rather vague and non-specific so it is difficult to fully and accurately understand your problem. However, redness, heat, swelling, and movement up your leg are signs of inflammation and could be signs of an active infection. If you have an elevated temperature, chills, and shaking then you need to seek medical attention immediately - ASAP. I would recommend you be examined by a Podiatric Surgeon who is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. If your symptoms are worsening and such a practitioner is not available to you then you should be examined at a Hospital Emergency Room ASAP.
Hello..are you diabetic? Did you have an injury recently? It might be an infection you have that is spreading . I recommend you to go see a doctor as soon as possible or go to nearest ER or urgent care.
I recommend you present to your PCP, a foot and ankle specialist (podiatrist), or present to the Emergency department for evaluation.
If redness and swelling are 'moving up your leg,' this could be the sign of a very serious infection (cellulitis) that may require hospitalization and/or IV antibiotics. It would be in your best interest to visit your local emergency room ASAP to have the issue evaluated immediately.
