General question for curiosity's sake about epilepsy

Should one who experiences partialf one who has epilepsy should ever have unexplained weakness on other side, should they be concerned?

Female | 24 years old
Complaint duration: 2 yr old question
Medications: Briviact and Levothyoxine
Conditions: partial epilepsy and hypothyriodism

With partial epilepsy you can have weakness on the opposite side of where your seizures originate; Particularly after having had a seizure ( Todd's paralysis ). If you have weakness particularly of New onset and on the same side where your seizures are coming from; That is concerning and needs to be evaluated. Presumably you have had an mri and eeg. If these were normal or showed just an explanation for the partial seizures, then you should not be overly concerned. The only other testing to provide reassurance would be a CT or MRI of the arteries in the head and neck (CTA OR MRA) Leon Rosenberg
