“HSV1 diagnosis?”
I tested negative for HSV-1 but my girlfriend tested positive and I am her first and only sexual partner. Does that mean my test was false and I am actually positive?

Hello, What most likely you are dealing with is that she has had cold sores in the past or active lesions now. HSV-1 is seen more with cold sore NOT genitals (although you can have type one in the genitals). That or unfortunately you were not her first sexual encounter, that includes oral sex.
