“Hard lump on collarbone and hip pain, is an examination needed?”
A week ago I've noticed a hard, bone-like lump (about 2 centimeters) on my right collarbone near my shoulder. The lump is really hard when I press it, it doesn't hurt and I cannot move it. I tried to feel it up and it doesn't feel like it's part of the bone, more like it sits on it actually, it's visible if someone looks closely. I don't know how it got there, it wasn't there months ago, and I didn't break or fracture my collarbone. My shoulder does hurt when I try to sleep on it.
Other symptoms: I've had a fever on and off a few weeks ago, my temperature still rises sometimes to 37.5-38°C ( I don't have the coronavirus, I've been tested.). There is also a little (like bean-sized) soft moveable lump in my groin area but it's been there for some time and it doesn't hurt. However, about 3 days ago my right hip started to hurt. I thought I hit it somewhere, or slept on or something, but there isn't any bruise (which is weird because I bruise really easily) and it didn't get better. It actually got worse, I cannot stand on it for too long but even if I lay down it still hurts. I cannot sleep on my right side because of it. I tried to hide my limp so my family wouldn't worry but it gets harder every day. I hadn't worked out, or run or anything that would have affected it like this. My joints were always really flexible, and my bones break really easily so I wouldn't have given it much thought if it hadn't gotten worse.
I've had a blood test and urine work done 5 days ago and there wasn't anything out of the ordinary. They found some protein in my urine, and my lymphocyte count was a bit higher than the normal range, also my neutrophil granulocyta level was a bit lower than normal, but my mom said that it was always the same in every bloodwork over the years, so it's nothing worrisome. Today I felt really awful, I was nauseous all day, I almost threw up after lunch. I have no idea what's this or if this is connected or just a coincidence, but my hip really hurts and I don't how to make it better.
I really don't want to worry my parents right now if it's not anything urgent. And I guess my question is, is it urgent or can it wait for a few months?
Thank you for the answer in advance.
