Heart disease?

Please I need this for research purposes. If a teenage male is expected to die in 2 months due to heart disease.
1. When will he be diagnosed and what is the process?
2. The name of the heart condition, the effect, and the medication need.

He may have long qt syndrome. If lucky, he will be diagnosed because a family member has had syncope or sudden death. Then he will be evaluated with an ekg and hopefully his untimely demise can be prevented. A number of other conditions are similar. Brugada Syndrome. Severe hypertrophic cardiomyopathy are two that come immediately to mind but there are others.

If lucky, the affected person will be diagnosed in a screening program pursuant to athletic participation or because a family member is identified with the condition.
