“Heart palpitations?”
I’ve been having heart palpitations for the past 3 days. I feel a flutter feeling about every few beats it lasts for about a second each time. When I’m distracted I don’t feel them. It maybe my anxiety that’s causing it but I’m very worried.

About half of palpitations do not correspond to any change in the heart rhythm. There are technologies that allow accurate recording of the heart rhythm electrically, like a Holter monitor. I recommend one of these approaches as the next step in diagnosis.
