Hello. There are two different ways to combine implants and dentures. One is a device called overdenture which is attached to the implants by a snap-on fashion connection. This overdenture is removable, I mean, you can remove it from the mouth for cleaning and maintenance. The other form is called Hybrids or fixed implant supported dentures which are carefully screwed or cemented to the implants by fix attachments or what we call multisystem in implant dentistry. We first place implants then the dentures have attachments that snap them onto implants in your jaw. These implants hold the dentures in place until you remove them at night.
