“How bad is the pain after ankle surgery?”
I am a 53 year old male. I want to know how bad is the pain after ankle surgery?

Depends on the procedure. Simple ankle Arthroscopy, minimal pain and rapid recovery. The other extreme ankle joint replacement, lots of pain and 2-3 months' recovery. Ankle fractures also weeks of recovery and lots of pain the first week or two.
