“How can I lose weight with just yoga?”
I am overweight and have to lose weight in the next six months before my marriage. Can I lose weight by just doing yoga?

A simple answer to your question is no.
Weight loss requires discipline with determination. It is a multi-disciplined approach. Your mind has to be fixed with that goal of loosing X lbs in Y period of time. You will have to now discipline yourself with a weight loosing diet, fasting as needed, and some exercise without compromising on these. When you have lost this weight, try not to regain it and still love yourself from start to finish.

Yoga alone will not help you lose weight, it depends on the type of yoga as well. If it involves using body weight and conditioning as well as some form of aerobics, then yes. The other thing is diet. This is key. You will have to adjust your caloric intake, decrease carbohydrates and increase water. Most weight loss occurs in the first 8-12 weeks, so good luck!!
