“How can I make my partial dentures more comfortable?”
I am a 62 year old male. I want to know how can I make my partial dentures more comfortable?

After teeth have been extracted your bone where the tooth was starts to shrink in height and width which causes shift in the way your partial wears and your teeth will also shift to close spaces, meaning the teeth on either side of the tooth will migrate or tilt to close the empty space, and the tooth above or below the tooth extracted will super erupt to close in the space as well. As the bone and gum tissue absorb you lose the ridge(aka gone) that the partial or denture sets on. Therefore the partial or denture does become uncomfortable, it is recommended that a patient who wears a partial of denture needs to see there dentist for maintaining the appliance, adjustments and relines are required to keep the appliance fitting snug and comfortable.
Get implants. Partial dentures normally have clasps that keep the denture off the tissue. If the denture is rubbing on the tissue, it will need an adjustment by a dentist. I always recommend implants, because the full or partial denture can be attached to a few implants and fit much better without rubbing on the tissue.
You can have them refitted to fit better. But ideally you should replace them with dental implants and natural looking teeth!

It all depends why your denture doesn't fit well. How old are they, how many missing teeth do you have, what material is it made of, etc.? In order to better answer your question, the doctor would need to evaluate your partial dentures in your mouth.
