I have TMJ and want to treat it. How can you help with TMJ?

help alleviate TMJ pain, minimize wide jaw movements, such as chewing, yawning, singing, and yelling.
We would need to do x-rays and examine you to see what options are better suited for you. There are people who only need night guards to help alleviate pain and others require surgery. Everyone is different.
TMJ issues are very common unfortunately. The range of treatment is very wide from certain medications to treat inflammation and muscle soreness, to certain oral trays and stents, to injections that help the surrounding muscles, to minimally invasive surgeries to clear out inflammatory areas, to bigger surgeries to reconstruct the joint. You'll need a clinical consult and MRIs or CT scans to know exactly what you'll need
