“How do you get out of bed after colon surgery?”
I am a 51 year old male. I want to know how do you get out of bed after colon surgery?

Place feet on floor then slowly get up. Discuss with Surgeon as well.
However is most comfortable for you. Some patients will "logroll" onto their side and push up at that way rather than trying to sit straight up using their abdominal wall muscles.
