How do you treat geriatric anxiety?

My grandmother has anxiety. How do you treat geriatric anxiety?

Geriatric anxiety reduction techniques may include but are not limited to, deep diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, grounding exercises, mindfulness meditation, practicing positive mantras or positive self-talk, guided imagery and visualization, and journaling or stream of consciousness writing. The treatment of anxiety is pretty much the same. There are medications that decrease anxiety and help with symptoms and also coping strategies that can be learned through talk therapy.
