The Macronutrient ratio varies by individual based on their health goals. While macros are definitely important for balanced nutrition, micronutrients are what help to lower inflammation, improve immune system function and reduce chance of disease. For someone your age, I would tend to stick with a macro ratio of 55% carbs/20%/25% fats.
With nutrition, it can be really easy to get lost in the details. In general healthy people who have a goal of continuing to live a healthy life are more about the big picture. When we are deciding on meals, I don't recommend getting out a kitchen scale and calculator. But I do recommend thinking about carbs, protein, fruits and veggies.
