I provide detailed aftercare instructions that are very important to follow post-surgery, such as avoiding strenuous activity, applying cold compresses, and keeping the head elevated to minimize swelling. Recovery times vary from patient to patient; however, many are able to return to work or go out in public after one to two weeks. It is a very personal decision and the time frame does vary from patient to patient.
1 week
Thank you for your question. This is a very common question. After a facelift, the sutures will be removed anywhere from 7-10 days after surgery. Typically, my patients can go out in public at around 2 weeks. If there is any swelling or bruising it is usually well hidden with a scarf. Incisions are nicely hidden in natural creases of the face and hair can be worn in a way to cover them.
Immediately.
Thank you for the question. Likely 2-3 weeks after the post-op bruises and the incisions are healed.

You have to be healed with sutures out. But, your activity is limited for another two weeks to make sure you do not cause bleeding with excessive activity. This a BIG DEAL! Do the right things after surgery. After the healing is complete, you can resume activity. BE SMART!! When the healing has time to recover, your activities are not limited.
Usually within 7 to ten days
Most patients are comfortable being seen at 2-3 weeks
