As soon as the local anesthetic has worn off
You can usually eat after the numbness wears off. Be sure to have a crown placed on the tooth, following the advice of your dentist.
Wait until the anesthesia wears off. Chew lightly on that side
You must avoid eating anything on that tooth for 10 to 14 days. Ideally nothing should be eaten on it until a crown is placed on the tooth.
When you're hungry.
The endodontist will give you post op directions.
You can eat once the numbing wears off. If you eat while numb. Just be careful not to bite your tongue or cheeks. Dr Totonchi
