How long do you have to wait to chew gum after a filling?

I am a 29 year old male. I want to know how long do you have to wait to chew gum after a filling?

An hour, or until the anesthetic goes away so you don't accidentally bite your lip or tongue.
For a silver filling, 24 hours; for a tooth-colored filling, there is no wait time.
White fillings are set up right away, but still numb. So, wait till numbness goes away.
