How long does a bone graft last without an implant?

I am a 38 year old female. I want to know how long does a bone graft last without an implant?

The rates of bone grafting failure are low. However, the sooner you can get the implant in the bone graft the better your outcome. But I wouldn't wait more than 1 year.
Depends on bone grafting material used. If you were going to have a bone graft and waited over 6 months, it's probably gone.
There are several factors that can cause variations in the answer including type of bone graft material that was used, type of graft, etc. For a typical extracted tooth with a bone graft, the bone builds up for about 5-6 months and begins to shrink back after that time period.
