I will have a brain CT scan. How long does a brain CT scan take?

About a half an hour total the scan is about 5 minutes in the room!
15-20 minutes at the most with set up

For children typically 5-15 minutes. On the longer end if using contrast and a child is uncooperative, but typically no sedation is required. A CT is much quicker than an MRI
Not very long. It is usually performed with an without intravenous contrast and generally takes less than 30 minutes. Actual scanning time is in minutes.
Actual scan time is seconds.....very quick.
