I am a 39 year old female. I wonder if radiation makes you feel sick?

Depending on the level of exposure, certainly
Only when you receive treatment to your abdomen (stomach or intestinal area) .
Radiation can make a patient feel sick. This usually depends on the site that is being irradiated and the size of the radiation field. Generally, treatment of the abdomen and pelvis with large fields will results in symptoms such as nausea or vomiting which may need to be managed with medications.
Generally, it does not make you feel sick at all. Maybe a little tired. It does depend on what is getting radiated.
