I am a 40 year old female. I want to know how long does a thyroid CT scan take?

Modern CT’s can obtain a thyroid CT , which probably includes more than just the thyroid, in seconds. The setting up of the machine, getting on to the table and getting off the table take the vast majority of the “time” of the exam. Exposure to the CT beam, again, is seconds of time.
