If it was treated properly, it should heal and return to normal life style in 2-4 months.
Sprained ankles are very common and if on the outside of the ankle and mine are usually within 1 to 2 weeks. If more moderate these can take easily one month sometimes longer. Foot sprains are a completely separate discussion and very complicated and frustrating. These easily take 3 to 6 weeks even with really good physical therapy. Get properly evaluated and work with a good physical therapist
Sprains typically take 6 weeks to heal
Sprains will vary in healing time based on severity of the injury. It can take several days to weeks. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for appropriate diagnosis and treatment
Sprains usually feel better at 6-8 weeks, recommend a boot for the first 2-3 weeks for the inflammation to go down and pain to decrease. But the ligaments that get damaged take 6-8 weeks to heal.
Depending on how bad the sprain is, this can take up to 3 months to heal with proper exercises and management.
Depending on how severe of a sprain you sustained, it can take 2-6 months.
Sprains/ligament injuries and other soft tissue injuries may take a long time to heal-often longer than it takes for a broken bone to heal. Sometimes I have patients 9 months to 1.5 years after an ankle sprain come to see me because they are still in pain, and did not seek treatment by a medical professional. Things heal much better if they are treated, as you will know what to and not to do, and you will be evaluated properly for the pathology and given imaging studies and assistive devices, like an ankle brace or a walking boot to assist with healing
I am sorry that I cannot give you an accurate answer on this question. The sprain depends on how severe the sprain was if there was ligament damage. If this was a simple sprain of the foot and ankle, probably take about 3/4 weeks or slightly longer. My advice is to get an appointment with the foot and ankle physician and they can give you the accurate answer.

Thank you,

Depends on how bad the sprain is. If you partially tore the ligament, think it takes about 6 weeks to totally get back to normal.
