It can vary but possibly up to a week
It may last up to 1 week. Make sure you take all prescribed medications, especially antibiotics, and follow all post-operative instructions.

A good rule of thumb is that swelling will progressively increase for the 3 days following dental surgery. After day 3 you should see noticeable reduction in inflammation.
