Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gingival tissues. To get the tissues healthy you need to follow the instructions of your dental providers. Generally, good home care after scaling by your dental team you should notice significant improvement in 10 to 14 days.
That is a hard question it all depends on the severity of gingivitis, your homecare if you smoke, your age, any drugs you take, and then it also depends on your body’s ability to heal. After you have had the treatment you will be able to see how you are responding and determine with more certainty.

Gingivitis is an easy fix with brushing properly and flossing.
With good cleaning and improved home care, it can be cured relatively quickly.
After a proper dental hygiene appointment to remove any tartar and plaque that you may have, the rest is up to you. With great oral hygiene (daily flossing, gentle brushing 3 times daily and rinsing with a non irritating mouthrinse (like Healthy Gums)) your issue can resolve in as little time as 7-10 days. Good luck!
Depending on the severity of the case, it varies.  Continual, daily care, flossing daily, brushing 3 times a day for 2 minutes effectively,  we see gingivitis resolve easily in 1-2 weeks.  It depends on you!  Brush and floss every day, you see results and your body is much healthier.
