“How long does it take to fill 3 cavities?”
I am a 29 year old female. I want to know how long does it take to fill 3 cavities?

Extremely variable. If the fillings are very small, located next to each other and toward the front of the mouth, it could take as little as 15 minutes. Larger, deeper, and not as easy to access areas could take an hour. And if in different areas of the mouth, could take even longer.
Hello, Happy Holiday’s! Hope you and your family healthy and happy.
A few procedures have to be done first, fill out medical history and review, oral exam, and X-rays. Determine which restoration is required (how big or small, how many surfaces are affected), Novocain administered. Up to this point, it could be 20 mins. Are all fillings in one location? Otherwise, X-rays taken for those areas, Novocain given. Depending on the side of the decay in each tooth, fillings take 3-10 mins each.
Wish I could have made it simpler.
Good Luck,

Not sure what kind of cavities you have, how big they are, or where they are in your mouth. Ask your American Dental Association dentist who will be helping to take care of them

Hi,
It depends how large and deep the cavities are, and if you are properly anesthetized, how experienced the dentist is, but I would say at least an hour.
