If you have a filling that cracked or a portion of the tooth cracked around a filling we can replace those with white bonded fillings. Here at General and Cosmetic Dentistry of Tampa you would be in the office for about an hour.
It depends how deep the crack is running. Sometimes it cannot be fixed just by a filling and may need a crown, especially if it is a molar. Filling usually can be done in one sitting; crowns, depending on the type, in 1-2 sessions.
It depends on the size of the cracked filling. If a filling can replace the cracked filling and the tooth doesn't need a crown, the tooth can be restored in about an hour.

Depending upon the extent of the crack, it can take anywhere from a half hour to an hour to restore properly. But sometimes it might require a crown, which takes about an hour and a half to prep the tooth for a crown.
This depends on how large the filling is. A filling that is only on 1 surface of the tooth can be done quite quickly, but if the filling is larger, say 4 surfaces, it will take longer for the procedure to be completed. Most dentists can complete 1 surface in 10-15 minutes.
