I will have LASIK surgery. How long does it take to recover from LASIK eye surgery?

The recovery is a continuous process. Most patients see well and feel fairly comfortable in a few days bu the eyes arent fully healed.
Dryness improves between 1 and 6 months but vision is usually excellent within a week.
Functionally you should be able to do most things the next day. No rubbing, swimming, or eye makeup for a week. After a week the flap will be secure enough to resume normal activities.
