I will have a root canal. How long does the pain last after a root canal?

It varies, but usually one day, take advil right away if you can. Not really bad, but like I say, it can vary. Good Luck
The tooth will be sore to touching and biting for a few days to even a couple of weeks. Usually ibuprofen will take care of this. Have a great day Dr Sondra Avant
