How long does replacing a filling take?

I will have a filling replacement. I want to know how long does replacing a filling take?

It completely depends on the size and complexity of the existing restoration (filling). If it's a simple, relatively small in size, it could take less than 20-30 min. However, if this tooth has had multiple previous fillings, or the existing filling is quite large, it could take an hour or more to complete.
Hi,

It depends on the size of the filling needed and the skill of the dentist performing the procedure. Smaller fillings will take less time, but larger fillings will take longer.
Hope this helps.

Best,
This depends on how large the filling is. If it is a small, one surface of your tooth filling it will take somewhere between 10-30 minutes. The larger the filling, the longer it takes, but rarely will a filling take longer than 45 minutes.
