“How long is physical therapy after rotator cuff surgery?”
I will have rotator cuff surgery. How long is physical therapy after rotator cuff surgery?

It's not uncommon for someone to go therapy a couple of times a week for a month or two following rotator cuff surgery. There are many factors at play so I'd recommend you consult with your PT for a clearer timeline.
Usually, 6 weeks. However, it is the recommendation from your surgeon and collaborating Physical therapist.
Recovery that is enough to be able to complete common activities of daily life without major issues and can be usually achieved by 8-12 weeks post-surgically. Complete rehab including return to prior functional activities including sports is 16-20 week post-surgery depending upon successful rehab. Thank you.
