I will have a kidney biopsy. How long is recoverty from kidney biopsy?

Kidney biopsy are usually done as an outpatient procedure using CT or ultrasound guidance by interventional radiology. You should be able to return to regular activity with mild restrictions based on the underlying indication for the biopsy by the next day.
The recovery is 24 hours. You can go back to work after 24 hours unless your healthcare provider tells you otherwise. Also, you can return to all your normal activities after two to three days after the procedure. Thank you.
If there are no complications, recovery from a needle biopsy would only take a day or two.
