How long is root canal pain?

I had a root canal 2 days ago. It still hurts. How long is root canal pain?

It varies in individuals but post operative pain is normally short lasting 2-4 days
can last couple weeks but more soreness. If its too painful, will have to be re-evaluated
Usually 1-2 weeks is my average for discomfort after a root canal. Some endodontists are not concerned even up to 6 months. 2 days is very normal
