It depends on the severity but on average could be between 2-5 days.
Hello, That depends in a lot of factors such as oxygen requirement, typical vs atypical pneumonia, preexisting medical conditions. Also it depends on the initiation if clinicians and decision when it is safe to transition to oral antibiotics. Would expect 3-7days. If severe and oxygen supplement is required may be 10-14 days.
