How long should I wait to get a crown after a root canal?

I had a root canal 2 days ago. How long should I wait to get a crown after a root canal?

As soon as possible!!
Consult with your dentist about this, as everyone's opinion's will differ slightly. Typically, I prefer to wait about 1-2 weeks just so any general soreness has subsided from the root canal. It can be done anytime after a root canal, though. You do not want to wait too long as the filling after the root canal is temporary, but it can last up to 3 months typically.
It depends on the tooth, usually ASAP
Wait 2 weeks.
It's generally recommended to start the crown treatment 1 week after the root canal - in case there's any problem that appears in that first week after the root canal, allowing the treating dentist to retreat more easily. You should get the build up / crown started no more than a month after the root canal - to avoid contamination of the root canal.
You should ideally get the crown as soon as possible, but after *ALL PAIN *is gone, no sensitivity, twinges, soreness, awareness, etc. Good Luck
