How long should your gum be sore after a tooth extraction?

I am a 25 year old male. I want to know how long should your gum be sore after a tooth extraction?

It depends which tooth and where the tooth was extracted. Generally, the gingival tissues will be sore for 1 to 3 days. If it was a surgical extraction of a wisdom tooth (3rd molar), the gingival tissues may be sore for up to 7 days.
The gum should be sore for up to a week after tooth extraction, sometimes longer depending on your health. The pain will be gone but it can take about a month for the gum to completely heal and up to a year for the bone to heal.
Under ideal circumstances, your gum may be sore for 7 to 10 days. After that it should feel better, but it can easily be injured and become painful again if you eat hard and crunchy food in the area.

The duration of soreness depends on how easily the tooth came out and on how well you cared for it after the surgery. If you think it has been sore too long, call your dentist or surgeon.
Usually, most of the discomfort disappears after a few days to a week, unless there is an infection or dry socket. Speak to your dentist if it persists.
Hope this helps.
