Most patients will no longer require glasses the same day as lasik. As time goes on, each person may have a shift in their prescription. Sometimes the shift happens in the first few months. Some patients are good to go without glasses for decades.
You may not need glasses at all after Lasik. Assuming that your vision correction is complete, there may be no residual refractive error, and then glasses would be unnecessary. Steven Vale, M. D.
