“How long will my nose hurt after rhinoplasty?”
I had a rhinoplasty 10 days ago. My nose hurts still. How long will my nose hurt after rhinoplasty?

Depending on the complexity, the procedure and if the surgeon had to break bones and don’t replace and use cage graphs, the discomfort could last for anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks after the operation. In general, one week is about the time that patients refer that they are uncomfortable. They feel relief once the splint is removed or replaced.
Rhinopalsty usually hurts for 3-7 days. If you still hurt after 10 days, you should ask your surgeon!
It's not uncommon to have nasal pain 10 days after rhinoplasty. You may have some tenderness as far out as 6 weeks' postop or longer. Should you have persistent pain beyond that, however, you need to discuss your issues with your rhinoplasty surgeon. You may need additional medication to help you along with your pain or nerve recovery, and you might require advanced pain management from a specialist. I hope you feel better!
