Hi,
Your discomfort may last only a few days, but try taking Aleve or Tylenol PM, which may help alleviate some of your discomfort.

Thank you for reaching out with your question. We work closely with our Orthodontic team at Dr. Wentz's office and Dr. Woller's Office. Typically discomfort with Invisalign aligners lasts for a few days once a new aligner is put in. Since patients wear a new Invisalign aligner every two weeks, you can expect some degree of temporary discomfort occurring every two weeks.

Usually for a few days to a week. It is not bad. Tylenol can help.

It will not hurt. Only minor pressure felt after 1 hour when new aligner tray is inserted.

With each new aligner for Invisalign, your teeth may be tender for 1-3 days as they start to move. Usually during this time, your dentist or orthodontist will recommend some type of over the counter pain medication to help manage any symptoms based on your medical conditions.
